Thomas Fulton Art Studio is located in Walterboro, SC.

Fulton grew up in the rural south on a tobacco farm in Grover, SC. He worked from a young age on the farm with his brothers and father. As a boy, Fulton attended a small school near his home, and after his early morning chores were complete he would rush to school early so he had the chalkboard to himself. He would cover the chalkboard with drawings, and erase them once everyone began to arrive for the day. Art has always been his passion. Fulton studied portrait painting under Ray Goodbred of Charleston for five years. He considered Goodbred a major influence in his life. Fulton studied with him starting in the 60’s and remained good friends with him up until Goodbred's death. He has also studied art with internationally-known artist, Daniel Green. Fulton specializes in portraits, but has also done numerous still-life paintings, as well as landscapes.
He married his best friend, Amanda, whom he dated since he was 16. They have one daughter, Melissa and three grandchildren. They both currently reside in Walterboro, SC.
